How it works
A fuller beard in four steps

Dry and clean
The area must be clean, dry and free of grease before you apply it.
Moisture reduces adhesion and leads to an uneven result.

Apply in the direction of growth
Open the stick, twist the paste up slightly and apply it directly to grey, white or patchy areas.
Apply evenly so the hairs get in between the ridges of the stick.

Blend with the brush
Blend gently until the transition looks natural — spot by spot or across the whole area.

Let it dry
Let it dry properly. Touch up or layer if needed.
The longer it dries, the better it holds — and the less it can rub off on light clothing. Washes out in the evening with water and shampoo.

How do I use Black BaBo?

Can the product rub off on clothing?
Yes, that can happen. Residue can end up on white T-shirts, light shirt collars or your pillow.
So let it dry properly after blending — the longer it dries, the better it holds and the less it transfers. Remove any excess beforehand with a dry cloth.
Are the products waterproof?
The beard stick is not waterproof, and that is intentional: you should be able to wash it out completely with water and shampoo in the evening.
The contour pen is waterproof. The two products behave differently.
How well the beard stick holds during sport or heavy sweating is something we have not tested sufficiently. So we make no promises about that.
How long does a set last?
The beard stick holds 20 g and lasts roughly one to three months.
The contour pen holds 5 g and lasts about one to two months.
Exactly how long depends on how often and how generously you apply it.
My beard is brown. Can I still use the product?
You can use it. The result is black, though, and may differ visibly from your natural beard colour.
The darker your beard, the less noticeable the difference.
Is it suitable for sensitive areas of skin?
We have not experienced skin irritation ourselves, and none has been reported to us by customers. Even so, we cannot guarantee that it is tolerated by every skin type.
If you are prone to allergies, apply the product to a small area first and see how your skin reacts.
